Goals The origins, history morphology, botany, physiology, cultivation, seed production, breeding, biotechnology and marketing, storing of sugar beet,sugar cane and potato. The students will gain knowledge about economic importance for World and Turkey, detailed cultivation of sugar crops and significant improvements about breeding and biotechnology for sugar beet,sugar cane and potato
Course Content To learn knowledge of history, importance utilization practices for sugar beet,sugar cane and potato To learn a basic understanding for botany, physiology of sugar beet,sugar cane and potato To learn a basic understanding cultivation of sugar beet,sugar cane and potato To gain information about seed production and classic breeding methods of sugar beet and sugar cane To get information about biotechnology of sugar beet,sugar cane and potato
