Goals It is aimed for this course to provide students to perform orijinal works by reviewing literature about their interests.
Course Content Current topics (such as economics and financial policies, money and capital markets, housing financing, public real estates, cadastral and deed title systems, local governments, urban planning applications (development), land ownership and tenure, change in land use and land use planning in urban and rural areas, land consolidation, expropriation, privatization, credit rating, valuation practices, possession of properties by foreigners and its effects, architectural design and change process, leading government and private organizations in the real estate sector and their activities, global capital movements and real estate investments, life stories of successful sector leaders and other current topics/events) in the real estate sector are handled by the invited foreign and local experts.
Learning Outcomes 1) Review and evaluate national and international literature about interested field.
2) Develop research proposal based on literature review.
3) Determine a subject from proposals and prepare a report about this subject.
4) Present and discuss research report.
5) Recognises the actors of the real estate sector.
