Goals To understrand the nature of scientific activity, one should be familiar with some other disiplines, namely History of Science, Philosophy of Science, Sociology of Science, Psychology of Science and Literature of science. The aim of this course is to familiarize the student with those said disciplines and their toolsand methods of solving problems in the scope of Science and Society Studies.
Course Content Discussion of scientify activity within the framework of "culture" and "culture of science" concepts.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learns the notion of scientificity and the nature of scientific problems.
2) Knows to demarcate the scientific thought from other thought forms.
3) Addreses the scientific thought as a culture.
