Goals To teach qualitative analysis techniques, separation and recognition experiments of cations and anions
Course Content Analysis of Cation Groups 1-5 and Anion Groups 1-4
Learning Outcomes 1) Recognize laboratory equipment and take laboratory safety precautions
2) Prepare all kinds of solutions for analytical purposes
3) Determine cations and anions by following the analysis flow chart.
4) Interpret the results of qualitative analysis and prepare reports.
5) Comment on the given sample using sensory properties
6) Designs experiments for the qualitative analysis of a sample.
