Goals Give information to the researchers who will work in organic chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry laboratories to carry out their work more efficient especially synthesis studies.
Course Content Theoretical information about Laboratory equipments, Drying and cleaning of laboratory stuff made of glass, Preparing some solutions, Laboratory safeness and first-aid, Techniques of stirring, cooling and drying in laboratory, Purification of organic solvents, Separation and purification methods, Crystallization, Distillation, Chromatography, Physical constants (melting point, boiling point, etc.)
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows organic chemistry laboratory work in safe working conditions for efficient drug synthesis and to perform the necessary tools and equipment using the structure elucidation of compounds.
2) Cooperate with Pharmaceutical industry, drug- quality control laboratory and consultate them.
3) Participate in university, industry, and drug-quality control laboratories.
