Goals to get the students to gain the competence for evaluating the innovations and developments in the field of educational administration at a national and international level from the conceptual and scientific point of view, discussing the current problems from this point of view, and creating solutions to thses problems
Course Content This course containsthe process of the structure and management of Turkish Education System
Learning Outcomes 1) Know main aims and principles of Turkish education system.
2) Be aware of the aims, mission of school and the role of the school in the community
3) Know equality of opportunity and comprehend the relation between opportunity and chance.
4) Implement general system approach and the system approach to school in education.
5) Know the legal basis of education system and discuss the current issues about education in this context.
6) Discuss the applicability of main management theories to education.
7) Compare Turkish education system with the education systems in some other countires i
8) Discuss applicability of main manegement processes to education system and at school.
9) Know and define the aims and functions of school management.
10) Make suggestions in order to solve them by determining the problems in the field of management of education system and schools.
