Goals The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of individual and group behavior in work settings and show their impact on organizational and employee performance and creating a peaceful work environment.
Course Content Scope and Importance of Organizational Behavior / Frequently Studied Variables in Organizational Behavior/Conceptual Framework of Current Topics in Organizational Behavior / Research Methods in Organizational Behavior / Organizational Justice, Organizational Trust and Psychological Contract/ Organizational Commitment, Organizational Identification and Organizational Citizenship Behavior/ Organizational Alienation, Loneliness in Organizational Life/ Counterproductive Work Behaviors / Organizational Cynicism/ Whistleblowing /Organizational Silence/Power and Politics in Organizations/Organizational Conflict Management/
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows the importance of interpersonal skills in the workplace.
2) Is aware of ethical dilemmas and ethical decisions.
3) Knows how individual differences and societal and organizational constraints affect decision-making process.
4) Knows the role of intragroup status and cultural differences in managerial processes.
