Goals The aim of this course is; It is to explain the physiological events in plants.
Course Content Cell-tissue-organ definition. Uptake and transport of water and mineral substances. Transpiration, respiration, photosynthesis, organic matter transport. Growth and development physiology (phytochrome system, plant growth regulators, flowering, stress physiology).
Learning Outcomes 1) Plant structure; To be able to understand the cells and organelles and their functions.
2) To be able to understand how plants obtain and use mineral substances.
3) To be able to comprehend the stages of transpiration and photosynthesis in plants and to interpret the physiological and ecological importance of these events in horticultural plant cultivation.
