Goals The aim of the course is to provide the students with the necessary information about the post-harvest preservation and standardization processes of agricultural products.
Course Content General characteristics of products biochemical structure and physiological events Pre-harvest, harvest and post-processing. Packing and storage houses. Product evaluation forms
Learning Outcomes 1) To describe the general characteristics of horticultural products
2) Interpret the effects of biochemical structure changes and physiological events during the storage period.
