Goals The aim of this course is to provide students the knowledge of scientific research methods and ethics in health services management field.
Course Content Includes topics of scientific thinking, the relationship of science and research, scientific attitudes and behaviors, scientific research types, characteristics and classification: Research according to the place, time being conducted, and according to the purpose of research and data collection forms and population, probability sampling and improbable sampling methods and their characteristics, stages of a research stages and procedures at each stage, research and publication ethics, the most common ethical errors.
Learning Outcomes 1) Names the types of research.
2) Explains the factors affecting the accuracy of the research.
3) Explains the stages of a research.
4) Defines the concept of population and sample.
5) Explains science and scientific method, scientific research and ethics.
