Goals The aim of the course is to teach the knowledge and skills for strategic planning and management in healthcare institutions.
Course Content In the course, the included topics are: strategy, planning, the nature of strategic management, competitor analysis, internal analysis, directing strategies and corporate strategies.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains basic theoretical and practical knowledge about planning and strategic management in health institutions.
2) Lists strategic management practices and requirements in the healthcare.
3) Lists the process of environmental analysis and environmental analysis techniques.
4) Lists strategic management techniques.
5) Applies the suitable strategic management technique according to internal and external environmental conditions that exist in health institutions.
6) Makes portfolio analysis.
7) Applies strategic management techniques both in private and public healthcare institutions.
