Goals Considering main facts of the world history from the French Revolution on 1789 to present and analysing the fundamental features of the world system.
Course Content After dealing with the pre-1789 period concisely causes and consequences of the French Revolution and Industrial Revolution will be handled. Then, principal incidents of the turbulent era of 1914-1945 will be analysed. Thirdly, Cold War era (1945-1991) will be considered. And lastly, Post-Cold War era will be dealt with.
Learning Outcomes 1) Learns history within the framework of cause-and-effect relationship
2) Learns 19. and 20. centuries world history
3) Understands the similarities and differances of the historical facts and periods by making comparisons among them.
