Goals The aim of this course is to teach; the composition of matter and its changes and basic concepts of chemistry to the students.
Course Content Basic theories and structure of atom, matter and properties, periodic system, chemical bonds, compound naming and formula writing, basic laws of chemistry, atomic weight, molecular weight, mole concept formula and compound calculations, chemical methods and problem solving techniques, solutions, mixtures and concentration calculations, gases
Learning Outcomes 1) Gains knowledge of the terminology related to the profession.
2) Applies different knowledge to the field of civil defense and firefighting with multidisciplinary perspective.
3) Continuous improvement of professional knowledge and skills and to gain awareness of following innovations.
