Goals Students who have just started their vocational education to learn general information about the profession and determining the point that the profession wants to be in the area that the profession addresses.
Course Content Introducing the concepts of general disaster knowledge and culture of prevention from disasters. What is Fire Safety? Protection, Precaution, Extinguishing, History of Fire Brigade, Past Status, Current Status, Status in World Countries Firefighting Organization (Local, Volunteer, Military, Industry, Forest, Marine, Air) Duties of Fire and Firefighter, Fire safety concept and general definition of the sector in this direction. Introducing Workspaces, Motivation.
Learning Outcomes 1) Gains knowledge of the terminology related to the profession.
2) Can successfully carry out activities in fire prevention, preparation and response stages.
3) Makes analysis in danger, take clear and correct decisions.
