Goals This course aims to enable students to improve the English Language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) needed in the vocational field by expanding the vocabulary.
Course Content Basic technical terms, dictionaries and documents; noun clauses; adjective clauses; adverb clauses; noun, adjective and adverb clauses in the technical documentation; samples for the determination of adjective and adverb clauses; examination of the papers and documents in English; preparing report and project in vocational English; oral communication in vocational English; written communication in vocational English.
Learning Outcomes 1) Gains knowledge of the terminology related to the profession.
2) Applies different knowledge to the field of civil defense and firefighting with multidisciplinary perspective.
3) Gains skills in basic communication (speaking, listening, writing, reading) and effective communication.
4) Continuous improvement of professional knowledge and skills and to gain awareness of following innovations.
