Goals Making the students to gain the ability of competences about the first aid and patient handling related basic principles of first aid, basic life support, first aid for physical injury, first aid for fracture, dislocation and sprains.
Course Content Fundamental applications of first aid, First and second evaluation, Basic life support in adults, Basic life support in children and babies, First aid during biliary tract obstruction, Internal and external hemorrhaging, Wound and kinds of wound, First aid during regional injury and spinal fractures, First aid during fractures, Luxatios and distortion of upper extremities,femur and lower extremities, First aid to the patients who need emergency maintenance, Intoxication, Heat-stroke, Ambustion and freezing, First aid in foreign body cases, Emergency carrying techniques and rapid carrying techniques in short distance, Carrying injured or patient with making stretcher.
Learning Outcomes 1) Applies different knowledge to the field of civil defense and firefighting with multidisciplinary perspective.
2) Continuous improvement of professional knowledge and skills and to gain awareness of following innovations.
3) Gains basic first aid and intervention skills.
