Goals It is aimed to raise awareness of students about NFT technology and to create their own NFT projects.
Course Content Non-Fungible Token (an art practice produced and certified through digital technology). In this course, digital technologies and blockchains behind the art of NFT, which has just started to become popular in contemporary art practices in the age of digital technology, will be examined. The technology and techniques behind NFTs will be analyzed. In the course, participants will be informed about the following topics: the history and use cases of NFTs, NFT printing and security, how to invest in NFTs, smart contracts, ERC-721, NFT token standard storing NFT on IPFS.
Learning Outcomes 1) Defines the technologies and applications behind NFT art which is the one of the digital art types
2) creates NFT project
3) Can define basic technology of NFT art
4) Can define underlying technologies of digital arts
5) Can define NFT storage and security practices
