Goals To have knowledge about industrial fires and fighting methods
Course Content Principles of fire safety, fire hazard terminology, properties of hydrocarbons, properties during combustion, engineering and technical properties of petroleum products, fire and explosion specifications of frequently used chemicals, environmental effects and possible measures. Related laws and regulations, case studies
Learning Outcomes 1) Gains knowledge of the terminology related to the profession.
2) Can successfully carry out activities in fire prevention, preparation and response stages.
3) Makes analysis in danger, take clear and correct decisions.
4) Applies active and passive measures used in fire prevention.
