Goals The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge on the occurence, distribution, movement and quality of groundwater
Course Content Surface hydrology; origin, occurence and movement of groundwater; properties of water-bearing sediments and rocks; groundwater exploration; regional groundwater flow; sea-water intrusion in coastal aquifers
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows the occurence, distribution, and movement of groundwater
2) Have knowledge of the quantitative methods used to solve hydrogeological problems.
3) Have the ability to think analytically and have the knowledge to solve a complex hydrogeological problem
4) Have enough basic knowledge to design groundwater systems
5) Knows about sea water intrusion
