Goals To enable the acquisation of conncecting the major and minor chords to each other through using four-part writing.
Course Content Main applications regarding creation of four-part choral writing on Bass and Soprano parts and connections.
Learning Outcomes 1) They can apply the main principles of harmony to four-part choral writing.
2) They can distinguish major and minor degrees on major and minor tonalities.
3) They can write in four-parts by building up chords on each degree of any tonality in root and cycle.
4) They can connect the dominant seventh chords to other chords by root positions and cycles.
5) They can make encrypted/clear four-part harmonic resolution on encrypted bass and soprano parts.
