Goals	To provide students with knowledge of the terminology of daily Arabic in different fields; to encourage the students to read daily newspapers and magazines of Arabic in order to increase words capacity; to introduce them to the texts of modern writers and to discuss these texts from different perspectives.
Course Content	Readings from various collections and modern texts (more of them are literary, some of which are) chosen from Arabic web-sites; knowledge about the authors of these literary texts and discussion on the literary texts.
Learning Outcomes	1) ."Texts on society and human subjects, texts on science and technology, selected texts from modern media are read." 2) "Texts are analyzed in terms of language, art and style, thoughts on text translation are shared, discussions are made." 3) To gain an ability of translation a daily Arabic text to Turkish
