Goals The purpose of this course is to give students information and perspective about organization concept in the frame of internal and external communication of organization.
Course Content The course content includes explanation of communication between organization and its publics. New communication technologies, power relations in organizations and organizational roles were discussed.
Learning Outcomes 1) Define organizational culture, organizational commitment, organizational learning and organizational participation.
2) Explain the main principles of organization’s communication with its internal and external publics.
3) Explain organizational theories.
4) Evaluate psychological and sociological dimensions of organizational communication
5) Interpret the link between new communication Technologies and organizational communication.
6) Explain the concepts of power relations, conflict and creativity in organization.
7) Analyze communication structure of political organizations.
8) Establishes the relationship between the concepts of organization and stress.
9) Evaluates the history and context of public relations and advertising and follows the developments in these fields.
