Goals	The course is aimed to introduce the building typologies of the Anatolian Seljuks and the First Principalities periods (XI-XIIIth centuries) with the important examples.
Course Content	Besides the religious architectural practices like mosques, tekkes-zawiyas, tombs dated to the Anatolian Seljuks Age, the buildings for education, commerce and the palaces and kiosks are examined.
Learning Outcomes	1) Knows the Seljuks building typologies. 2) Has information about the craftsmen problem and the important founders in the Early Turkish Art. 3) Interprets the effects of the political and the socio-economic situations of the period on the architecture. 4) Has basic information about the decoration of the Seljuks architecture.
