Goals To be able to comprehend the types, techniques, period features and stylistic characteristics of the Byzantine art, to identify the characteristics transferred from other regions and cultures, and to acquire the knowledge and skills to identify the history of works in these properties.
Course Content The Early Works and the Recent Works of the Byzantine arts are analyzed.
Learning Outcomes 1) To be able to comprehend the types, techniques, period features and stylistic features of depiction art belonging to Byzantine Period
2) To be able to determine the characteristics transferred from other regions and cultures and to determine the history of the works within the framework of these characteristics.
3) Gain the ability to generalize by making stylistic analysis on different materials
