Goals	The course is aimed to introduce and to evaluate the late Ottoman architecture under the foreign style effects with its important practices.
Course Content	The situation of the Ottoman Architecture after the Sultan Ahmet Mosque, the arrangements of the Tulip period and the effects of Tanzimat in İstanbul and the provinces are examined.
Learning Outcomes	1) Analyses the European style effects in the Ottoman architecture. 2) Has opinion about the Ottoman modernization. 3) Has information about the transformation process from Hassa Mimarlar Ocağı (The court’s architects association) to Ebniye Nezareti, and the architectural practices of the last Ottoman period. 4) Evaluates the foreign architects issue, seen in the late Ottoman Architecture.
