Goals To provide mathematical knowledge that can help solve the financial and financial problems that students will encounter in banking and insurance education in a system and to give easy problem solving habits by directing the student to think correctly. To provide the basis for continuing undergraduate education with vertical transfer.
Course Content Interest Rate Concepts and Types of Interest, Interest Rates and Interest Types, Periodic Interest Rates, Interest Rates on Multiple Capitals, Discount Concept and Discount Types, Simple Foreign and Internal Discount Account, Equivalent Bills, Joint Maturity-Joint Interest Rate, Average Maturity Account , Capital Creation, Repayment of a Borrower by installments.
Learning Outcomes 1) Calculates interest and discounts.
2) Expresses basic financial and economic issues mathematically.
3) Analytical approaches to the problems we face. It produces a solution.
4) Knows how to solve problems encountered.
5) Knows the mathematical solution methods that can be used for solving problems.
6) Approaches the events and problems related to the field with an analytical perspective.
