Goals To give the necessary information about life, health insurance and private pension system to the students who will work in the insurance sector and to load it with adequate equipment. To introduce the Life and Health insurance industry and Individual Pension Companies
Course Content History of life insurance, The Definition of Life Insurance and Types, Parties and their obligations in life insurance, Life Insurance Coverages, Exceptions and Additional Coverages, The Difference Between Life Insurance and Non-Life Insurance, Some Concepts: Actuarial, Mortality and Illness Level Tables, Reinsurance, Participation, Loan, Deduction, Transfer of Life Insurance Policies, Private Pension System and Its Functioning, Pension Mutual Funds, Health Insurances
Learning Outcomes 1) Life insurance companies in Turkey, premiums, premium calculations, and learn to make investments of life insurance companies.
2) Learn the purpose, scope, legal regulations and operation of the private pension system.
3) Definition and scope of health insurance, products, organizational structure of health insurance companies, guarantees and regulations, premium calculation, damage payments.
4) Learns the differences between Life Insurance and Individual Pension System and the scope of BES Exam.
5) Learns the differences between life insurance and non-life insurance.
