Goals To provide students to make critical observations to concepts of traditional grammar, to give examples from major foreign languages and Turkish this observations and to provide how students approach to general concepts of contemporary linguistics to language structures.
Course Content Definition, scope, history of practical linguistics, to examine basic concept and methods, working about grammar, semantics, social linguistics, phonetics, theory, morphology of methods, teaching of language, translation, cognitional linguistics, lexicology, literary criticism etc.
Learning Outcomes 1) To determine language using norms for everyone languages in context of cultur-language.
2) To make work using methods of linguistics research.
3) To present general rules and trends in written and oral using of language.
4) To learn and practice methods of linguistics research.
