Goals Importance of computer in child's life, usage areas and points to consider, children oriented computer programs, basic skills regarding computer usage and computer usage of children with disabilities help children to gain competency.
Course Content Within the framework of this course, topics such as the importance of computer in children's life, its areas of use and points to be paid attention, computer programs for children, basic skills in computer use and computer use in disabled children are given place.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains the place and importance of computer in children's life.
2) Discusses the effects of computer use on children's development areas.
3) Explains child development and education areas where computer is used.
4) Guides children in computer use.
5) Lists the features of computer programs which support child development.
6) Selects expedient and useful programs out of computer programs for children.
7) Uses computer in children's education.
