Goals The aim of this course is to learning the basic concepts of adolescent health, acquiring information in the protection and development of adolescent health, acquiring skills in communication with adolescents, learning and applying appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes in the follow-up of healthy adolescents
Course Content The content of the course is to approach to adolescent, main principles of communication with adolescents and methods of communication, adolescent interview, physical and mental development in adolescents, psychosocial development in adolescents, adolescent periods and their characteristics, therapeutic alliance, preventive health in adolescents, adolescent vaccination, risky behaviors in adolescents, researches in adolescent health, anthropometric evaluations in adolescents, Identification of puberty and initiating mechanisms, stages of puberty, morbidity and mortality in adolescents, main problems of adolescents in Turkey.
