Goals The aim of the courseis to recognase of growth, development and puberty problems in adolescents, diagnosis of endocrinological diseases frequently seen in adolescence, follow-up and treatment approach to gain knowledge and skills
Course Content The content of the course is to action of hormones and their mechanism , evaluation of growth in adolescents, approach to pathological growth problems (short and long stature), etiopathogenesis and diagnosis / treatment criteria of early and delayed puberty, approach to endocrinological diseases (thyroid diseases, hirsutism, PCOS, osteoporosis) in adolescence
Learning Outcomes 1) Describe of hormones and their mechanism of action in the endocrine system
2) Evaluate of growth in adolescents
3) Evaluate of the bone age
