Goals The aim of the courseis to learn the characteristics of gynecological examination of adolescents and know the approach of diagnosis and treatment of gynecological problems in adolescence period and gain the necessary knowledge and skills to cooperate with obstetrician when it’s necessary. In addition, to gain the necessary attitudes in managing gynecological problems of adolescent girls.
Course Content The content of the course is to gynecological examination in adolescent girls, common gynecological problems in adolescents, menstruation physiology, approach to amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, premenstrual tension, müllerian duct development disorders and other anatomical disorders, breast diseases and galactorrhea, abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome, Vaginal discharge, reproductive health, sexually transmitted diseases, pelvic inflammatory diseases, pelvic pain, gynecological oncological diseases in adolescence, contraception, emergency contraception, complex contraception, and adolescent pregnancies.
