Goals This lecture deals with the micro economics issues. Micro economics investigates how an individual makes decision as a consumer, how a unique firm makes decision as a producer and how their decision effect each other in the market.
Course Content Economics, economic issues and economic analysis related to the basic concepts, the concept of supply-demand and pricing
Learning Outcomes 1) Students define basic concepts on economics, economic problem, and economic analysis.
2) Students know production possibilities curve; specialisation on production; alternative economic systems and the features of these systems.
3) Students explain the operation and equilibrium of the full employment market on the basis of supply and demand rules.
4) Students know intervention in the market mechanism.
5) Students know the efficiency of the full employment market.
6) Students tell the reasons of the market failure.
7) Students explain the consumer's utulity-maksimizing behaviour with different teories.
8) Students explain the short and long run production functions.
9) Students know the costs of the short and long run production functions.
10) Students know the production and pricing decisions in the full employment market.
