Goals The course intends to work through the learning psychology theories and therelation between theory and practice.
Course Content The course contains subjects as follows; basic concepts of learning psychology, learning and brain, behaviorism, social learning theory, information processing approach, socio-cultural theory and motivation in education.
Learning Outcomes 1) Understands the scope and research areas of learning psychology
2) Understands the behavioristic approaches
3) Defines behavior change techniques.
4) Comprehends social and cognitive learning theories.
5) Explains the educational implications of social and cognitive learning theories.
6) Chooses appropriate behavior modification techniques and apply them on a given sample.
7) Discusses the theories of learning psychology in terms of educational practices.
