Goals To provide the necessary general knowledge and skills related to operating systems.
Course Content Basic concepts of operating systems; widely used operating systems; the tasks of the operating system; computer system structure; distributed systems; special purpose systems; open source operating systems; basic user and group operations; open source operating system basic tools and applications; file system and working logic; basic network programs and settings; installation of different operating systems; mobile operating systems; comparison of operating systems in terms of security and usability.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explain basic network concepts and structures.
2) Define the differences between operating systems.
3) Explains how the operating system responds to user requests.
4) Explain the concepts of operating systems.
5) Linux operating system can install and use.
