Goals The aims of this course are (1) to introduce major educational traditions in the West and Turkey, (2) to show their philosophical and religious justifications and presuppositions, (3) to provide clarity about educational concepts and argument and (4) to develop a capacity to make sense of different educational discourses and to evaluate them.
