Goals In this course, it is aimed to make students explain and compare the historical development, policies and legal regulations of early childhood special education (ECSE) in Turkey and the World by defining the basic concepts related to ECSE; define assessment methods in early childhood; explain the planning of services, service delivery models and programs in ECSE; by knowing the importance of ensuring family participation and empowering families in ECSE, explain the ways of effective cooperation and communication with families and other staff; compare developmental, behavioral and natural interventions by identifying effective practices in ECSE; explain the place and importance of technology use in ECSE; make comments and inferences about the future of ECSE based on its present.
