Goals In this course, it is aimed that the students identify the disability groups that are rarely encountered in special education, their characteristics, education and the adaptations that should be made for these individuals.
Course Content The identification of individuals in disability groups, which are rarely encountered in special education, their characteristics, and educational approaches and teaching strategies for these groups.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explain the importance of family participation and cooperation in special education.
2) Defines and classifies the rare types of disability in special education.
3) Identify the factors that cause rare types of disability.
4) Explains the basic features of rare types of disability.
5) Identifies appropriate educational approaches for rare types of disability.
