Goals The aim is to teach a wide range of fundamental and advanced photography techniques, critical thinking skills, and the applications of forensic photography, from theory to practice.
Course Content Information about photography and the development of cameras, knowledge of equipment used in photography, introduction of professional cameras, aperture, shutter and ISO settings, forensic photography information and areas of use
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows and uses camera and accessories.
2) Explains the functions of the basic components of the camera.
3) Knows the measurement and control of artificial and natural light for photography.
4) Uses visual composition elements and expression elements such as light, space, depth, space, rhythm in photography.
5) Uses photography techniques in different categories and subjects such as human, nature, fiction, documentary, advertisement etc.
6) Knows digital photography techniques and makes original experiments on photography with image processing programmes.
7) Makes photographic readings and evaluates his/her own photographic works in terms of technique and composition.
8) Knows photographic equipment such as cameras, lenses and lighting accessories and various types of photography such as portrait, landscape, macro and documentary photography.
9) Knows how to use subject-specific shooting techniques.
