Goals The aims are to teach the evidences in sexual assaults and to teach importances and basic principles of crime scene investigation in sexual assaults.
Course Content Crime scene investigation in sexual assault cases, material evidence, detection of evidence, collection and packaging of evidence and their impact on elucidating the case.
Learning Outcomes 1) Understands the importance of crime scene investigation in sexual assault cases.
2) Learns what the possible evidence can be according to the flow of events at sexual assault scenes.
3) Learns the procedures for collecting evidence in sexual assault cases.
4) Understands the importance of biological samples in sexual crimes and learns the appropriate collection procedures
5) Learns legal procedures in collecting evidence in sexual assault cases
