Goals The city provides them with a perspective of critical thinking, an interdisciplinary clarity and a creative way of looking at research areas.
Course Content Specific social processes (modern / industrial etc.) Urban studies will be built on Castells, Harvey, Lefebvre, Simmel, Massey etc. Reflections on the city of capitalism, urban and immigration, city and crime, space, everyday life and social memory .
Learning Outcomes 1) Knows the concepts related to the city
2) Learning the problems of modern city
3) Interpretation and interpretation of the city together with spatial-social-historical layers
4) Conducts critical urban readings
5) Learn how to interpret urban space
6) Gains an idea about the meaning of placement in representation models
