Goals The burial customs in the ancient periods should be known in order to distinguish the cases of Forensic Anthropology and archaelogical finds. Firstly, archaeological sites will be introduced and then burial customs will be throughly emanined.
Course Content Burial customs according to different regions and periods; burial excavation methods and documentation techniques.
Learning Outcomes 1) Gains knowledge on different burial types and customs specific to particular periods and regions.
2) Gains knowledge on methods and documentation techniques by excavating burial remains
3) Gains ability to differentiate archaeological burials and forensic cases.
