Goals This course includes the fundamental operations research issues such as linear and integer linear Programming, transportation-assignment models, network models, CPM and PERT methods, dynammic programming, decision analysis, inventory managment, non linear programming, queuing theory, game theory and goal programming and other quantitative techniques will be examined. There will be case study presentations in the end of the semester.
Course Content Linear and integer linear programming, simplex method, transportation-assignment models, network models, CPM and PERT methods, dynammic programming, decision analysis under risk and uncertaininty, decision analysis, inventory managment, non linear programming, queuing theory, game theory and goal programming and other operation research techniques.
Learning Outcomes 1) He/she will have enough background to give information about important quantitative models and methods for the businesses.
2) He/she will have enough background to give information about the decision making techniques and their applications in the business
3) With the aid of the homeworks, He/she will be capable of applying quantitative techniques to the business application.
4) He/she will have enough background to give information about the principle approaches of quantitative analysis in solving the problems on the basic business functions.
