Goals The goal of this course is to teach special syntax, words and expressions of classical poems and to introduce general classical collected poems with an information about the verses and poets.
Course Content Arabic Poetries in the Classical Period
Learning Outcomes 1) To provide student with the knowledge of the origin of Arabic poetry
2) To present student with the knowledge of Arabic poetry's importance in the Arab community
3) To provide student with the knowledge of Muallaqa (Odes) poets and poems
4) To present student with the knowledge of Arabic poetry until the end of Abbasid Period
