Goals The aim of the course is to improve the students' skills to use the English Language fluently and with the right diction, articulation and intonation, and to express themselves fluently in this language.
Course Content The course consists of theoretical information related to speaking skills such as the use of vocal organs, body language, types of expression, the application of this theoretical information by the students and its evaluation.
Learning Outcomes 1) through the in-class discussion and the presentations on various subjects students find the opportunity to use the English language both as a daily language and and official and scientific language, thereby improving their skills to use the language.
2) They acquire the abililty to use English fluently in oral communication to express their ideas and opinion, to engage actively in scientific discussions through the repetitive applications and in-class discussions.
3) They improve their language skills, their command of the language as well as their vocabulary by using English as the medium of their academic research for the preparation and delivery of their presentations.
4) Students improve their skills to present their research results and to evaluate the presentations of themselves and others in English.
