Goals Defines what communication is; shows how communication functions in personal and social levels; explains the basic dynamics of communication process; shows the relationships between politics, economy, culture, social sphere and media.
Course Content Relationship between communication, language and meaning; text, genre and interpretation; code, sign and myth; ideology and representation; communication, authority and media.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explains the concept of communication.
2) Tells the basic components of communication.
3) Defines different types and levels of communication.
4) Compares various communication tools and opportunities of these tools.
