Goals This courses main goal is to introduce basic concepts of photography, technics and aesthetics of photography, various areas and genres of photography within social, historical and ideological contexts.
Course Content This is an introductory course focuses on the nature of photographic medium, various areas and genres of photography; social, historical and ideological aspects, technics and aesthetics of photography.
Learning Outcomes 1) Compares contemporary photographers who use the photographic tool as different forms of expression.
2) Explains the ontological origins that dominate the nature of photography. Explain the evolution of photography since it was discovered.
3) Distinguishes the difference of various styles in the photographic field.
