Goals The course aims to explain the relationship between the social and economic spheres in the context of social policy, the problems faced by the societies in this process and the roles of both the state and the other social actors in the processes in general and in the media sector and to give students a basic formation in this regard.
Course Content " The development of social policy from a historical perspective, both in general and the current state of the social policy and basic issues in Turkey, for example, the state's social nature and social policy, health and safety at work"
Learning Outcomes 1) " Comprehends the historical transformations in the context of the state-society relations and the concept of citizenship, establishes relations with the media"
2) Analyzes the characteristics of media production processes in the context of social policy.
3) " Understands the connections between social and political position of the media and social policy"
