Goals This course aims to provide students with key concepts in communication law. It is designed to familiarize students with the relationship between fundamental rights and freedoms and communication field. It also introduces Intellectual Property Rights.
Course Content Communication within the framework of fundamental rights and freedoms; the freedom of communication; regulation of press and judicial responsabilities; regulation of radio and television; technological development and law; protection of intellectual rights.
Learning Outcomes 1) Evaluates the field of communication within the framework of the regime of fundamental rights and freedoms.
2) Explains how and by whom the control and surveillance authority over the communication field can be used.
3) Distinguish the stages of development of freedom of communication in Turkey.
