Goals The aim of the course is to teach the development process of material cultural heritage management, and having the students gain the knowledge an ability to prepare and practice a management plan.
Course Content History of development process of material cultural heritage management in Turkey, institution and their regulations, exceution fields.
Learning Outcomes 1) Explanation of the cultural heritage concept.
2) Ability to list the international institutions and agreements about cultural heritage.
3) Ability to identify the function of cultural heritage in public administration.
4) Ability to analyze the cultural heritage politics and practices in Turkey.
5) Learning the institutions in charge of cultural heritage management and related law.
6) Gaining the ability to field management, projet preparation and management of cultural heritage in Turkey.
